Horse Show
 

Put on a multi-breed charity horse show.  The horse show provides an avenue for amateur athletes to participate and compete.  This promotes the growth of the horse industry in Michigan, as well as stimulating the travel and restaurant business in Michigan.  Local charities benefit from the fund raising.

Midwest Show Horse Directory
 

The American Saddlebred Horse Association of Michigan (ASHAM) published the Midwest Show Horse Directory. This annual promotional directory is distributed to members, advertisers, and suppliers to the horse industry.  This promotes our amateur athletes and their accomplishments.  As well as spreading information and knowledge of the horse industry in Michigan and the midwest.

ASHAM Banquet 

Year end awards are presented ath the annual banquet.  High point awards are given for amateur competition inboth show and academy levels.  Points are accumulated from participate in Michigan horse shows with saddlebred classes.  This stimulates competition throughout the state, promoting the Michigan horse industry.

ASHA Charter Clubs Region 8
 

The American Saddlebred Horse Association’s worldwide network of more than 50 Charter Clubs enriches the American Saddlebred experience for members. Clubs promote American Saddlebreds at the local level and help newcomers to learn more about the breed, as well as offering many equine and social activities for their members’ education and enjoyment.
